Preceded on Monday by a presentation and tasting of various productions of Evo olive oil and its healthy role in the Mediterranean diet, the meeting 'with the places and flavours of Lazio' was held at the Italian Embassy Residence in Copenhagen. Representatives of local and international institutions, representatives of associations and the community, operators, importers and tour operators took part in the convivial event that Omnia Tuscia and the Alessandro Farnese Hotel School in Caprarola prepared. Local products, images and films on the places, routes and views of the Via Amerina and Via Francigena led the guests on a virtual tour of the region and the many places and experiences it offers tourists and lovers of historical, naturalistic and eno-gastronomic routes.
A rich and varied presence of Alto Lazio wines accompanied the menu prepared by the young pupils of the A. Farnese School, led by Prof. Prof. M. Farnese. Farnese, led by Prof. Aniello La Pietra: a demonstration of professionalism and passion, much appreciated by the participants, which also served to highlight the great virtues of an Italian school of chefs destined to cultivate the best of culinary tradition and the properties of various national products. Confirming the need for a fundamental ingredient in top-level catering, against all 'Italian sounding': preparation, knowledge of products and their properties, and dedication to preserving tradition while innovating in the results. In the end, a proof of success and a reassuring promise for the future of high-level Italian cuisine.
