(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 26 - Italian shipyard Intermarine, a
company in the Immsi industrial group, and defense giant
Leonardo have signed a contract with the Italian Navy's naval
armaments directorate (Navarm) for new-generation coastal-type
minesweepers, and the connected logistical support.
The contract for the construction of five minesweepers for the
Italian Navy is worth 1.
6 billion euros, with the option of an
additional one billion to complete the program. (ANSA).
