Building collapse in northwestern Italian town

(ANSA) - Novi Ligure, April 28 - An elderly woman went missing when a building collapsed Monday in the town of Novi Ligure in northwestern Italy. The slab between the first and second floors gave way, possibly an effect of heavy rains on the aging construction. Firefighters and Carabinieri paramilitary police are on the scene.
