(ANSA) - Rome, June 10 - The public and private debt of Italy
and other southern European countries like Greece, Portugal,
Spain, Ireland and Slovenia "could block the recovery for
years," Standard & poor's said Tuesday.
Their debt doubled from 2006 to 2013, the ratings agency
said.
Rome's 71.6% rise was the lowest after Slovenia's.
