(ANSA) Baghdad, June 23 - Jihadists from 'Isis' have hanged
and decapitated hundreds of Iraqi soldiers in Salahaddin,
Ninive, Dilaya, Kirkuk and areas under control of the Sunni
militia, a spokesman for Iraqi Prime Minister Al Maliki said
Monday.
The slaughter was disclosed as the Iraqi Prime Minister met
in Baghdad with US secretary of state John Kerry for talks that
centred on an American proposal for a more 'inclusive' Iraqi
government with more Sunni representatives to try and stem the
advance of Isis troops.
South of Baghdad meanwhile as many as 70 bodies of
prisoners killed by Al Qaeda militiamen were discovered as Iraqi
media said Isis was consolidating its control of Tel Afar
between Mosul and Syria.
