(ANSA) - Naples, September 5 - Italian police on Thursday
night shot dead a 17-year-old boy who ran a roadblock with two
friends in Naples.
The shot went off accidentally, police said.
The victim was named as Davide Bifolco.
Locals rioted in protest and two police cars were damaged.
One of the vehicles was completely destroyed, police said.
Bifolco's death was "murder", his brother said.
"He didn't fall off (his scooter), he was rammed," said
Tommaso Bifolco.
Police said Bifolco was hit by an accidental shot as
police were trying to subdue him and another of the teens who
refused to stop.
The third got away, they said.
