(ANSA) - Rome, September 17 - Some 13 people were killed
and 34 hurt in an attack at a teacher training college in the
northern Nigerian city of Kano Wednesday, with Islamist group
Boko Haram suspected.
Boko Haram, which has been waging an insurgency in Nigeria
since 2009 in a bod to carve out an Islamic state in the north.
In July the city - the biggest in the north - suffered a
spate of five attacks in four days, one of which also targeted a
college and killed six people.
