(ANSA) - Rome, October 30 - Demonstrators in Burkina Faso stormed parliament and ransacked state television on Thursday in protest against plans to change the constitution to allow President Blaise Campaoré, in power for 27 years, to serve another term. Parliament was due to vote on the constitutional amendment later in the day.
    Police also fired tear gas at angry demonstrators gathered outside the parliament building in the capital Ouagadougou as the protests entered their fourth day.
    Several hundred protesters subsequently ransacked the presimses of state broadcaster Rtb, damaging vehicles and equipment.
    They left the premises after failing to force their way into the television studios.
