(ANSA) - Brussels, May 19 - Russian Foreign Minister Sergey
Lavrov said Tuesday his talks with EU foreign policy chief
Federica Mogherini Monday had shown "some developments, some
things moving" in relations between the two sides. He said the
talks on the Ukraine crisis and bilateral ties "ended in general
in a positive way". Relations have recently been strained by
Moscow's intervention in Ukraine and a series of western
sanctions. The fall-out from the sanctions have prompted fears
in some quarters that Russia will turn away from Europe towards
China.
