(ANSA) - Turin, June 11 - Three men were arrested on
Thursday following an investigation into the kidnapping and rape
in May of a 20-year-old woman with diagnosed psychiatric
problems, police said.
The woman went missing on May 27 and told of the kidnapping
and rape when a relative found her 30 hours later near home,
Italian daily La Stampa reported Thursday.
The suspects, two from Ghana and one from Nigeria, were
living in abandoned Olympic Village buildings from the 2006
Winter Olympics in Turin, where hundreds of foreigners have been
squatting for over two years.
The trio is accused of kidnapping and group sexual
violence.
