(ANSA) - Rome, June 18 - A half-million Italian high school
students entered the second day of final exams on Thursday, with
each type of high school providing a specialized state exam for
its students.
Students in the classic high schools were faced with a
Latin exercise on Tacitus; a math exercise for students at
scientific high schools including a problem on cell phone rate
plans for international calling; business economy for
administration, finance and marketing students; general
psychology for social and health services students; science and
culture of food for tourism students, including an article from
UK daily The Telegraph on food and different worlds; and for
language students, an article from The Guardian on social
eating.
Making its debut this year is the final exam for choral and
musical students, a high school that came about from the Gelmini
education reform of 2010-2011.
