(ANSA) - Rome, June 23 - A total of 76 sidewalk businesses
including snack trucks and florist stands will be banned from
the areas around the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Pantheon and the
Spanish Steps starting July 10, Rome Mayor Ignazio Marino
announced Tuesday.
On Wednesday the city government will publish information
regarding relocation of these businesses, who must move by the
July 10 deadline or face fines.
The businesses will be granted permission to operate in
various stretches of Lungotevere along the Tiber River and near
the Pyramid of Cestius.
