(ANSA) - Rome, September 15 - The government's planned 'digital tax' on digital giants who currently have their tax base in low-tax countries will bring in "two to three billion euros a year," Economy Undersecretary Enrico Zanetti said Tuesday. Italy will have a so-called 'digital tax' from January 1, 2017 to "have transactions and accords taxed where they are made," Premier Matteo Renzi said Monday, replying to a question on a 'Google Tax'.
