(ANSA) - Catania, October 21 - Normal services resumed at
Catania airport on Wednesday following a brief closure to
incoming aircraft due to a major thunderstorm in the area.
In total seven flights into the eastern Sicilian airport
had to be rerouted to the regional capital Palermo or to Lamezia
Terme across the Messina strait on the Italian mainland.
