(ANSA) - Rome, October 23 - The European Central Bank (ECB)
on Friday revised downwards eurozone inflation estimates through
2017.
Its quarterly Survey of Professional Forecasters put 2015
eurozone inflation at 0.1% (down from 0.2%), while prices are
expected to rise 1% instead of 1.3% next year and by 1.5% rather
than 1.6% in 2017.
Eurozone GDP is expected to expand by 1.5% this year
(against 1.4% forecast in July) and by 1.7% in 2016 (down from
1.8%).
