Soccer: Palermo sack Iachini, put Ballardini in charge

(ANSA) - Palermo, November 10 - Serie A side Palermo said Tuesday that they have sacked coach Giuseppe Iachini and put Davide Ballardini in charge of the team. The Sicilian side are currently 12th in Serie A with 14 points from 12 games. It is Ballardini's second stint at the Sicilian club after being their coach in the 2008-2009 season. He has also coached Lazio, Genoa, Cagliari and Bologna.
