(ANSA) - Rome, April 1 - Over seven out of 10 Italians, 74%,
are against military intervention in Libya, according to an Ixè
poll for RAI 3 released on Friday.
Libya's increasing political instability and geographic
proximity to Italy have recently given rise to speculation
regarding a possible military operation.
Renzi has stressed that Italy would only use its armed
forces in Libya as part of an "international initiative"
following a request by a "super solid" Libya government.
