(ANSA) - Cagliari, May 11 - A married couple were found dead on Wednesday in their home in Settimo San Pietro, near the Sardinian city of Cagliari, ANSA sources said. A double murder is suspected. The deceased were named as Giuseppe Diana, 67, and Luciana Corgiolu, 62. After a preliminary examination of the bodies forensic experts said they appeared to have been stunned by one or more blunt objects before being finished off with a knife or knives. The murders took place two days before the bodies were found, the experts said.
