Son confesses to double murder of parents

(ANSA) - Cagliari, May 13 - A 28-year-old man captured after a shoot-out with officers on Thursday has confessed to the double murder of his parents at their home in Settimo San Pietro, near the Sardinian city of Cagliari, police said Friday.
    Igor Diana confessed during questioning at Iglesias hospital, where he is being treated for the wounds he suffered during his capture by police and Carabinieri officers. He is also accused of the attempted homicide of the police officers.
