(ANSA) - Bethlehem, July 5 - A large mosaic of the 'seventh' angel of the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem has been uncovered during an Italian restoration of the monument at the site traditionally considered the birthplace of Jesus. The angel, thought to have been lost, was found with a thermography that made it possible to detect it under a solid surface. It can now rejoin the six other angels at the church.
