(ANSA) - Beijing, August 26 - A team of three Chinese
search-and-rescue experts arrived in Italy last night to aid in
an earthquake-stricken area of central Italy, China's official
Xinhua News Agency reported Friday.
The Ram Union Rescue Team from China's eastern Zhejiang
Province was dispatched with medical equipment and machines that
can find people trapped under rubble.
The Italian branch of the organization sent 16 of its
members, including two doctors, and first aid supplies.
The Ram Union Rescue Team has so far taken part in five
post-quake operations abroad - including in Ecuador, Nepal, and
Pakistan - as well as in China.
