(ANSA) - Rome, November 3 - The archaeological site of the ancient Roman city of Pompeii has attracted a record of over three million visitors this year, Culture Minister Dario Franceschini said Tuesday. "It's the first time ever," Franceschini said via Twitter.
In 2015 the site in the southern region of Campania attracted 2.9 million visitors.
