(ANSA) - New York, December 13 - Oil and gas giant ENI will reach a record output of 1.84 million barrels a day next year, CEO Claudio Descalzi said Tuesday in illustrating the results and forecasts from a transformation that began in 2014. "In less than three years," he said, "we have achieved the highest organic growth in the industry with an increase in production of over 15%, or more than 250,000 barrels a day," he said. Descalzi said ENI had managed to "halve the breakeven of our projects and freed up inactive capital via the productive launch of major projects and an extremely reduced time to market". He said ENI would continue to expand.
