'DUX' pine forest semi-destroyed near Rieti

(refiling with new photo). (ANSA) - Rieti, August 25 - A pine forest that spelled out DUX, the Latin handle of Fascist dictator Benito Mussolini, has been left semi-destroyed by a wildfire, sources said Friday.
    The forest on Mt Giano near Rieti was planted by forestry students in honour of Il Duce in 1939 and later declared a natural monument.
