(ANSA) - Milan, October 4 - Two in five Italians did not save any of their earnings in 2016, because of debt or money being too tight, stock-market regulator CONSOB said in a report on Wednesday.
It said the other 60% regularly put money aside. The report said over half of Italians invested their savings after advice from relatives, friends or colleagues.
Only a quarter took advice from financial consultants.
