Albanian villa-robbing gang busted

(ANSA) - Turin, October 9 - Italian police on Monday said they had busted an Albanian gang that burgled 36 villas near Asti, Cuneo and Turin while their owners slept in the last three months. Five people were arrested for stealing jewels, watches and wedding rings as well as silver cutlery, espresso machines and cars. The gang's hauls have been recovered and returned to their owners.
