(ANSA) - Bolzano, November 10 - Prosecutors in Bolzano
confirmed to ANSA Friday that they have opened a probe into
suspected instigation to suicide in relation to the death of
Colonel Antonio Muscogiuri.
The officer, 50, was found hanged April 6 a few days after
his indictment was requested along with another five officers
for aggravated military fraud in connection with armoured cars
provided to the Italian contingent in Afghanistan which turned
out to be more lightly armoured than regulations stipulated.
On April 20 the five were indicted by a Rome military court.
The autopsy confirmed suicide.
