Italy beats Sweden, 57% of taxes goes to welfare (3)

(ANSA) - Rome, February 21 - Italy beats Sweden in welfare spending with 57% of tax revenue spent on the welfare system, the Welfare Itineraries think tank said Wednesday. "Italy beats the home of welfare", the study said.
    "The incidence of spending on healthcare, pensions and welfare rose to 57.32% in 2016," it said.
