(ANSA) - Rome, February 22 - An Italian-born device
turbodrives the Internet, the journal Nature Phonics said
Thursday.
The device, from the TeCIP institute of Pisa's Scuola
Superiore di Santa'Anna and the Consorzio Nazionale
Interuniversitario per le Telecomunicazioni (CNIT), is able to
send complex signals on fibre-optic cables, making
communications "much more efficient," the journal said.
It said it was a revolution comparable to that which has
happned in electronics thanks to ever smaller and more powerful
