(ANSA) - Pordenone, July 4 - A court in the northern Italian
city of Pordenone on Wednesday upheld an appeal by a lesbian
couple against the Italian Constitution's ban on gays' using
assisted fertility treatments.
The Constitutional Court will now assess the appeal, judging
if the ban is in line with Constitutional principles.
There have been a number of similar cases in Italy.
