(ANSA) - Rome, September 28 - Stefano Esposito of the
opposition centre-left Democratic Party said Friday that
dismissal letters will be sent out on Monday to 150 workers
involved in the Terzo Valico construction project for the
Genoa-Milan rail connection.
Esposito said the redundancies were on the way because
Transport and Infrastructure Minister Danilo Toninelli had
failed to authorize rail company RFI to release 200 million
euros for the project's fifth part.
Junior Transport Minister Edoardo Rixi said Thursday that the
funding was coming.
