(ANSA) - Rome, October 1 - The Italian government "won't
sacrifice workers on the altar of the spread", Deputy Premier
and Labour and Industry Minister Luigi Di Maio said Monday.
"The government will never choose decimals and will never
sacrifice workers on the altar of the spread and the crazy rules
that have been imposed on us," he said.
"This government will not commit social butchery, the music
has changed," said Di Maio, leader of the anti-establishment
5-Star Movement.
