(ANSA) - Rome, October 17 - Former Puglia governor Nichi
Vendola had a heart attack on Monday, sources said Wednesday,
stressing that he is in no danger after being fitted with a
stent at Rome's Gemelli Hospital.
Sources in his Italian Left-LeU group said he went to the
Gemelli after suffering chest pains Monday, and a heart attack
was diagnosed.
Updates on his health will be given in the coming days, the
group said, stressing that his life is not in danger.
