(ANSA) - Rome, October 22 - Deputy Premier and
anti-establishment 5-Star Movement (M5S) leader Luigi Di Maio
said Monday he had always said Italy would never leave the euro.
"The votes of the 5-Star Movement are decisive to have the
majority (in parliament) and since I became political head I
have always said we would never leave the euro," he said outside
the premier's office.
Di Maio, who is also labour and industry minister, is allied
in government with the leader of the anti-migrant Euroskeptic
League party, Interior Minister Matteo Salvini, the other deputy
premier.
