(ANSA) - Rome, October 22 - A Carabiniere in the Temporary
International Presence in Hebron (TIPH) mission was slightly
hurt Monday when a knife-wielding Palestinian attacked one of
the two Israeli soldiers the officer was with, wounding the
soldier in the chest.
The unnamed Carabiniere suffered "slight bruising", local
sources said.
The attacker was neutralised by the Israeli security forces
present at the scene.
The Carabiniere had been on patrol with the two Israeli
soldiers in Hebron.
