Gay cop elected to union leader's office for first time

(ANSA) - Rome, January 11 - A gay cop has been elected to a police union's leadership office for the first time in Italy.
    "I hope my election helps others to come out," said Michela Pascali, 45, after she was voted onto the SILP-CGIL secretariat.
