(ANSA) - Rome, January 16 - Deputy Premier and Interior
Minister Matteo Salvini said Wednesday he would respond with
"actions and not words" to comments made by Naples mayor Luigi
de Magistris after a bomb attack on an iconic pizzeria in the
southern Italian port city.
"Naples can hire more local police, it is already benefiting
from police and Carabinieri reinforcements, it has received
funds for video-surveillance and thanks to the security decree
it has received more resources, an ad hoc regulation to scrap
old confiscated motorcycles in exchange for incentives and more
power for public order and evictions," Salvini said.
