(ANSA) - Catania, January 23 - Police in the Sicilian city of Catania on Wednesday arrested an Italian convert to Islam for allegedly instigating people to join terrorist groups, sources said. The man, a 32-year-old Catania native with a criminal record, allegedly used social media to spread extremist propaganda after becoming a Muslim in 2011, according to investigations. He has been taken to jail, the sources said.
