(ANSA) - Rome, February 14 - The League on Thursday came out
against government partner the 5-Star Movement's (M5S) move to
stop shops opening on Sundays, saying the decision should be
postponed pending more hearings at a House committee for
category associations.
It said a request for more hearings came from the
oppositions, the centre-left Democratic Party (PD) and the
centre-right Forza Italia (FI).
The League said "we already gave an exemption to historic
centres and neighbourhood shops".
