(ANSA) - Piacenza, May 9 - A man was arrested Thursday for
slitting his wife's throat near Piacenza on Wednesday.
Abdelkrim Foukahi, a 41-year-old Moroccan stopped at a
motorway service station in Veneto Wednesday afternoon, is
accused of murdering his wife, Damia El Essali.
The man, who was missing with their two children aged two and
four for several hours, was tracked down thanks to his car
number plate which showed up at an A4 motorway entry point.
The man has been taken to a prison in Venice.
Carabinieri carried out the arrest on a warrant from Piacenza
prosecutors.
