(ANSA) - Vatican City, May 15 - Pope Francis on Wednesday
let eight African migrant children onto his popemobile ahead of
his weekly general audience.
The children arrived in Italy via humanitarian corridors or
on migrant boats leaving Libya.
They are originally from Syria, Nigeria and Congo.
The pope has repeatedly called for migrants to be rescued.
