(ANSA) - Milan, March 25 - Former civil protection chief and Lombardy coronavirus consultant Guido Bertolaso was admitted to Milan's San Raffaele Hospital Wednesday after testing positive for the coronavirus and suffering fever symptoms.
Bertolaso, 70, is acting as Lombardy Governor Attilio Fontana's consultant on setting up a coronavirus hospital in the Milan Fair area.
His condition was said to be stable and he has already been given a lung X-ray which came out clean, sources said.
Bertolaso will be kept under observation, they said.
