(ANSA) - Caserta, April 6 - Some 150 prisoners in three departments of a jail near Caserta rioted Sunday night after the news of a Sicilian inmate who tested positive for COVID-19.
The uprising at Santa Maria Capua Vetere jail near Caserta lasted for about four hours with inmates threatening to pour boiling oil on anyone who came near them.
