Man shoots wife, self in Milan

(ANSA) - MILANO, 23 LUG - An elderly man shot his 80-year-old wife and then tried to kill himself in Milan on Thursday, police said.
    She has been declared brain dead.
    Polices said the man acted because he was about to be hospitalised and his wife would have been left on her own.
    He is said to be in critical condition.
    Police are investigating. (ANSA).
