Migrant worker cap to be removed

(ANSA) - ROME, 18 NOV - A cap on migrant workers contained in a previous decree by League leader Matteo Salvini is to be removed in the reform of the decree, according to an amendment approved Wednesday.
    The nationalist anti-migrant League condemned the amendment as a "criminal amnesty" for allegedly illegal workers.
    Many of the tough provisions of Salvini's migrant and security decrees are now being softened. (ANSA).
