(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 24 - A hit-and-run driver killed a
68-year-old homeless man near the cemetery in Velletri south of
Rome on Tuesday night, police said Wednesday.
Local prosecutors have opened a probe into vehicular homicide
and failing to stop and assist a road accident victim.
The incident took place in via Ariana, not far from the
municipal graveyard in the Castelli Romani town. (ANSA).
