(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 6 - A wild boar was spotted playing with a
ball in a dried-up riverbed in Genoa at the weekend.
The animal was filmed pushing the ball around with its nose in
the Bisagno River bed while three other boar looked on.
"His team play will have to get better," said the official who
filmed the incident, council chief Roberto D'Avolio.
Boar incursions into Italian cities are becoming increasingly
common.
Citizens have lamented an 'invasion' by the species. (ANSA).
