(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 14 - Trani prosecutors on Friday opened a probe into possible culpable manslaughter after a 42-year-old woman died after being given a pre-anaesthetic at the dentist's near the southern Puglia city on Thursday.
The woman died in nearby Corato after suffering a heart attack after being given the soothing drug.
Prosecutors would like to know whether her death was a consequence of getting the drug or whether she would have died anyway.
The dentist has been filed as a possible suspect in the manslaughter investigation. (ANSA).
