(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 23 - The government will not extend the
COVID-19 state of emergency beyond its scheduled end date of
March 31, Premier Mario Draghi told businesspeople in Florence
Wednesday.
The government will gradually end the obligation to have a Super
Green Pass health certificate, he added.
He said quarantines and FFP2 face masks in schools would be
halted in April.
"The goal is to open everything back up as soon as possible," he
said.
In other remarks, the premier said the price of energy was
concerning and that Italy would boost gas production. (ANSA).
