- ROME, FEB 24 - In a message for Lent 2022 released on
Thursday, Pope Francis warned against "concupiscence, that
frailty that leads us to selfishness and every evil, finding
over the centuries several roads leading mankind to fall into
sin".
The pontiff explained that "one of these roads is the risk of
addition to digital media, which impoverishes human relations".
"Lent is a favorable time to fight these pitfalls and to
cultivate instead a more integral human communication made of
'real meetings', in person", he added.
Digital media addiction among roads to sin says Pope
Francis calls for real rather than virtual ties in Lent message
